What goes into our bag?
Fresh fruit is cut and then air-dried. This process gently removes the water from the fruit - it contracts. The dried fruit is cut very finely and delicately. We only use fruit of exceptionally good quality. We do not put any burnt fruit in our bags.
What is behind dehydration?
Dehydrating toppings removes moisture from fruit, herbs or other organic substances, intensifying their flavor and extending their shelf life. The result is a crunchy, concentrated version of the original topping in terms of taste and appearance.
Dehydrated toppings offer a contrast in texture, a particular flavor and a "preserved" aesthetic that fresh produce in the form cannot provide. Thus, dehydrated fruit is a sustainable solution as it reduces food waste by effectively extending the shelf life of fresh ingredients (in this case fruit).
