If the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the former interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing. The legitimate interest of our company lies in the performance of our business activities as well as in the analysis, optimization and maintenance of the security of our online offer.

Klarna will also use your address data for this purpose. If this calculation shows that you are not creditworthy, Klarna will inform you immediately. It is possible to revoke your consent to the use of personal data at any time from Klarna. However, even in this case Klarna may still be entitled to process, use and transfer the personal data if this is necessary for the contractual payment processing by Klarna's services, is required by law or is required by a court or an authority.

In some cases, we use external service providers within the scope of your consent or our legitimate interests with regard to analysis, optimization and economic operation of the online offer. If you have given your consent for tools that are not necessary for the operation of the website, you can have these settings changed again at any time. We list our service providers below.
If your data is to be used for other purposes, we will inform you in advance and only use the data if you have expressly given your further consent to this in advance.
6.1 Google
We use services for which Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google") is responsible within the scope of your consent for the optimization and economic operation of our online offer.
Google LLC is certified under the Data Privacy Framework, so that possible measures have been taken to ensure compliance with European data protection law.
6.1.1 Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics as a web analysis service on the basis of your consent. Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
We would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with IP anonymization and therefore IP addresses are shortened by Google in member states within the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission in order to exclude a direct personal reference. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
Google will use this information on behalf of the provider for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. To the best of our knowledge, Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings on our website and changing your selection there. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent until you withdraw it.
You can also prevent the installation of cookies in advance by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
You can also object to the collection and storage of data by Google for the respective end device at any time with effect for the future in connection with the use of this link:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
Google Analytics 4 sets a maximum retention period of 14 months for data storage. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Google as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Google's data protection information at https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/de/ and at https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.
6.1.2 Google Adsense
This website uses Google AdSense, a service for integrating advertisements from Google. These advertisements can be recognized by the reference "Google ads" in the respective advertisement. Google AdSense uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. Google AdSense also uses so-called web beacons (invisible graphics). These web beacons can be used to analyze information such as visitor traffic on these pages. The information generated by cookies and web beacons about the use of this website (including your IP address) and the delivery of advertising formats is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This information may be passed on by Google to contractual partners of Google and authorities. However, Google will not merge your IP address with other data stored by you.
This website may also activate Google Adsense ads from third-party providers. The aforementioned data may be transferred to these third-party providers. You can find a list of these third-party providers at https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/94149
You can not give/revoke your consent or prevent the installation of cookies in various ways; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by Google Adsense, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the general data protection information https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/, especially for Google Adsense at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/ and www.google.de/intl/de/policies/technologies/ads .
6.1.3 Google AdWords / Conversion Tracking
This website uses "Google Adwords" and conversion tracking as part of Google Adwords. When you click on an advertisement placed by Google, so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer, are set. The cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. This allows Google and us to recognize that the user has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to this page. Conversion cookies are used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers. These customers receive the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. Personal identification is not possible for these customers either. You can object to this use by deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie in your internet browser. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. Further information about Google's data protection provisions can be found at the following Internet address: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
6.1.4 Google TagManager
We use the Google Tag Manager. This allows us to manage website tags via an interface and thus integrate Google marketing services into our online offering, for example. The Tag Manager itself does not process any personal user data. For the respective Google services, please refer to the respective information and usage guidelines at https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.
6.1.5 YouTube
We use the provider YouTube, a Google service, to embed videos.
These videos are stored on www.youtube.com and can be played directly from our website. YouTube uses cookies for data collection and statistical data analysis. Among other things, YouTube uses cookies to collect reliable video statistics, to prevent fraud and to improve user-friendliness. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is also transmitted to YouTube servers in the USA and stored there. Your IP address cannot be assigned unless you have logged in to YouTube or another Google service before accessing the page or are permanently logged in. If you do not wish this, you must log out of your YouTube account and your other Google accounts.
YouTube cookies provide us with statistical values on the retrieval of individual videos embedded in the website without a reference to the respective user.
The embedded videos from YouTube are used within the scope of the permitted use by YouTube, which all users must accept. If you see any copyright infringements, please report this directly to YouTube. We use embedded YouTube videos in extended data protection mode. This means that YouTube does not store cookies for a user who views a website with an embedded YouTube video player but does not click on the video to start playback. If the YouTube video player is clicked, YouTube may store cookies on the user's computer. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by YouTube. For more information on YouTube's official data protection policy, please visit https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/171780?hl=de.
6.2 Meta Pixel
With your consent, we use services of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland ("Facebook" or "Meta"), for the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer.
The US company Meta Platforms Inc. is certified under the Data Privacy Framework, so that possible measures have been taken to ensure compliance with European data protection law.
Our website uses the advertising tools Custom Audiences and Website Custom Audiences from Meta in accordance with your consent. A non-reversible and non-personal checksum (hash value) is generated from your usage data, which is transmitted to Meta for analysis and marketing purposes on its social platform and stored in the USA.
The meta pixel is integrated directly by Meta when you visit our website and can store a so-called cookie, i.e. a small file, on your device. If you subsequently log in to Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, your visit to our website will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous to us and does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and can be used by Meta and for its own market research and advertising purposes. If we transmit data to Meta for comparison purposes, it is encrypted locally in the browser and only then sent to Meta via a secure https connection. This is done for the sole purpose of creating a comparison with the data that is also encrypted by Meta.
For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Meta, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Meta's data protection information at http://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/, and specifically for Facebook Custom Audiences at https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/.
If you wish to object to the use of Meta Website Custom Audiences, you can also do so at https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/. To do this, you must log in to your Facebook account.
If you click on the link, an "opt-out" cookie will be stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you will have to click the link again. Furthermore, the opt-out only applies within the browser you are using and only within our web domain on which the link was clicked.
7 Data storage outside the EU/EEA
Where indicated in the individual tool descriptions, we use tools from US third-party providers. Insofar as this is necessary for the purposes communicated, your IP address may be processed outside the European Economic Area, where a level of data protection corresponding to the European standard is not always consistently guaranteed and confirmed (e.g. by a suitable guarantee within the meaning of Art. 46 GDPR or an adequacy decision of the European Commission). In particular, it cannot therefore be ruled out that security authorities in a third country may gain access to your IP address without you being able to take effective legal action against this.
The IP address is transmitted to these third-party providers in accordance with Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your express consent given in the consent banner. This consent is voluntary. You can revoke it at any time with effect for the future. You will not suffer any disadvantages as a result.
In the opinion of some US third-party providers, a level of protection corresponding to the European standard is already guaranteed due to the conclusion of so-called standard contractual clauses and additional measures taken in accordance with the Schrems II case law. However, as the suitability of such measures to guarantee an adequate level of data protection is disputed, we have decided to transmit your IP address exclusively with your consent.
The certification of some companies under the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) serves to ensure the level of protection and can be requested here for the companies: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/s/ . This certification is sufficient as a measure to ensure an adequate level of data protection.
8 Our presence in social media
You can find us under online presences within social networks and platforms. We would like to use these presences to communicate with our customers, interested parties and users active there and to inform them about our services and our company in this way.
The processing of the personal data of the users active there is based on our legitimate interests in communicating and providing information to and with the users. If users have given their consent to data processing within the framework of the respective social platform, the processing takes place on the basis of this consent.
If you visit one of our social media sites, we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social platform for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. In principle, you can assert your rights (information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and complaint, see the following point "Rights of the data subject") both against us and against the operator of the respective social platform.
We would like to point out that, despite the joint responsibility, we do not have full influence on the data processing operations of the social platform and may forward the rights request to the respective operator in order to better process the rights of the data subject. Our options generally depend on the company policy of the respective provider.
You can find our information on storage below. We have no influence on the storage period of your data that is stored by the operator of the social platform for its own purposes. For details, please contact the operators of the social networks directly (e.g. in their privacy policy, see below).
Depending on the social platform named below, user data processing may also take place outside the European Union. EU standard contractual clauses have been agreed with the US companies or they are certified under the Data Privacy Framework (DPF), so that we have taken possible measures to ensure compliance with European data protection law.
As a rule, user data is processed by the platforms for market research and advertising purposes. For example, usage profiles can be created from the usage behavior and the resulting interests of the users. The user profiles can in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to the interests of the users. For this purpose, cookies are usually stored on the user's computer, in which the user's usage behavior and interests are stored. Data can also be stored in the user profiles independently of the devices used by the users. This occurs in particular if the users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in to them.
